The first negative reviews about a Windows phone 7 will be the HTC Trophy.
Users have been complaining that it is relavently slower device when compared with other Windows Phone 7 devices. Users are complainig in two important aspects. One which will be the speed and second being that the trophy sports a cheap quality display. The HTC trophy had been compared with the Samsung Omnia 7 which is pretty similar in terms of specifications.
The Omnia sports the same hardware like the Trophy but with little changes. Users feel the Omnia 7 is noticably faster than the trophy. The same game run on trophy which was run on the Omnia, loads much much faster than the Trophy. Also some users feel Omina 7 display screen is more responsive and snappier on the navigation side. This is a severe beating for the HTC phone manufaturer. It has also been said that the speed related issues might be due to slower storage cards on the Trophy.
Htc must release a firmware update which will improve the screen responsiveness and speed related issues. If they fail to do that, HTC Trophy will fade away from the market.
